Keith Lawson Moore provides strategic business development advice for clients that do business – or want to do business – with the United States Federal Government, along with additional commercial work, primarily in the healthcare and homeland security sectors. His concentrated areas of expertise cover the U.S. Military Health System, The Defense Health Agency, The US Department of Health & Human Services (National Institute of Health/Center for Disease Control/Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services) and The Department of Veterans Affairs. Keith’s wide array of clients includes progressive leaders in the healthcare quality improvement industry, cyber security, big data use and protection, cloud engagement, and identity management.
Mr. Moore successfully builds business relationships amongst companies and government executives to achieve mutual success. His expertise in coordinating strategic corporate teaming/partnering and respected government executive relationships has afforded a win-win for both government and business. In addition to having a portfolio of companies that range in size, his personal clients hold set-aside status in the areas of Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), Woman-Owned, and HubZone.
Mr. Moore has resourced experts in health care policy, program development, executive management, strategic planning, informatics, public health strategies, and homeland security.
Prior to his work above, Mr. Moore was a key member of the team that helped build the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) – the largest government department established since the Department Defense in the 1940s. Mr. Moore served as a Senior Advisor in transportation security at TSA. This experience exposed him to the definitive relationship between information security within emergency response and healthcare. Additionally, as Special Assistant to the Deputy Administrator, he headed multiple leadership initiatives to advance research and development funding, industry initiatives, TSA business transformation and culture, and Department transportation priorities.
Having experience as an attorney early in his career, Keith also worked in the venture capital field. He co-founded and launched a privacy/security data compliance resource company for a Dallas VC firm.
Mr. Moore holds a Juris Doctor from New England Law in Boston, and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Villanova University.
Currently, as EXEDEC’s President & COO, Mr. Moore’s primary focus is to establish business partners and strategists in cyber security, intelligence analysis, geo-political risk, health care IT systems, transportation safety, and government relations.
