Zdzisław Wiater joined Asseco Poland’s management team in 2007. In July 2012, he became a Head of an Infrastructure within the Department of International Organizations and Solutions for the Security Sector. Since February 2015 he is the Director of the Military Sector of Asseco Poland.
In previous years, he worked for Hays Data Entry International (1997-1998), then in 1999-2004 he held the position of System Administrator in Commercial Union Poland (now Aviva). He has many years of professional experience in working on projects for international agencies. Since 2004, he has worked for ABG Ster-Projekt on a cyber-security project for NATO. During its execution, he participated in Alliance activities to help secure Estonia from potential cyber-attacks. He also worked in the SHAPE Technical Information Center (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe) near Mons in Belgium. In 2007 he became a project manager for the IT system for the NATO Training Center – Joint Forces Training Center in Bydgoszcz.
