GODFREY GASTON

Director of the Centre for Secure Information Technologies, Operations Director at the Institute of Electronics, Communications and Information Technology at Queen's University Belfast – UK

    Dr Godfrey Gaston graduated with a MEng degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Queen’s University Belfast (QUB), UK followed by a PhD at The University of Edinburgh.
    He spent a number of years working for GEC Plessey Semiconductors and Engineering Manager for a technology start-up, BCO Technologies, followed by Analog Devices.
    Godfrey is currently Director of the Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT), based at QUB. He has expertise in commercialisation within an open innovation research environment. His current interests include the creation of cyber innovation ecosystems and linking these systems up internationally.
    Godfrey has also completed an MBA from Henley Management College, London and is co-founder of startup company, Titan IC Systems.
